Simply Soulful

I know what it’s like to keep going when you’re running on empty. To give and give and not quite know how to stop, or even what stopping would feel like.

I’m Sinéad, and I first encountered Reiki when I was twelve. By then I was already sensing energy around people - something I’d always done without quite having a name for it. When I found Reiki, it felt less like learning something new and more like coming home. I went on to train when I was sixteen, and that pull has never left.

Over the years I’ve built a practice, taken it apart, rebuilt it around marriage and motherhood and everything life brought with it. I’ve been in burnout. I’ve been lost in it. And I’ve found my way back - not once, but more than once.

I came to breathwork later, after my children arrived. I found that the two practices naturally wanted to be together - the breath opening something that the energy work could then meet. That combination became Ibuki Breathwork, my own way of working with both. I do this work not from a place of having it all figured out, but from a place of having lived it.

Simply Soulful is where I hold space for women like you. I’m not far ahead on the path — just far enough to reach back.

You’re welcome here exactly as you are.

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a gentle energy practice - and beyond that, it’s hard to describe until you’ve experienced it.

You lie fully clothed on a treatment table. I place my hands lightly on or above different areas of your body. There’s nothing you need to do, say, or understand. You just breathe.

Most people feel deeply relaxed. Some feel warmth or a subtle shift in energy. Some go somewhere that’s hard to name - not quite sleep, but not quite here either. Some cry, without knowing why. All of it is welcome.

I’ve been practising Reiki for nearly 30 years. In that time I’ve sat with a lot of people in different states - grief, exhaustion, anxiety, numbness. You dont’ need to explain yourself or arrive in a particular way. You just need to show up.

If you’re curious but not sure, that’s enough to start.

Restorative Breathwork

Breathwork has a reputation for being intense. Lots of breath, lots of emotion, lots of release. That’s not what this is.

This restorative style is my own blend of breathwork and energy healing. The breath is slow, rhythmic, and easy on the body. There’s no forcing or no pushing through. It works with your nervous system rather than demanding anything from it.

Most people descirbe coming out of it feeling floaty. Like they went somewhere and came back different. Deeper than a regular Reiki session, they often say.

If you’ve been curious about breathwork but weren’t sure it was for you, this might be the version that is.

Soulful Sessions

Gatherings

Throughout the year I host workshops, meditation gatherings, and collaborative events with other facilitators. These tend to be small and intimate - a handful of people, a few hours, a room that feels like somewhere you’d want to stay.

I also teach Reiki - Level 1, 2, and 3, as well as teacher training for those who want to carry the practice forward themselves. Teaching is something I love, and I come back to it when the time feels right.

The best way to hear about what’s coming up is to follow along on Instagram or Facebook.
